The BLAQ Pride Variety Show

The Blaq Pride Comedy Show: Proud Mary Edition should look like In Living Color’s baby, but she don’t know if it’s Whose Line Is it Anyway  or Soul Train’s baby, but she definitely fucked Arsenio Hall too, allegedly! We will anchor the show with traditional comedy sets from headlining comedians, and interject elements of old school variety shows such as improv and comedic musical numbers. The idea is to use comedy and storytelling to reintroduce Black queers to the world as human, finally. There are a lot of narratives surrounding us that we have the power to put a vocal to. Essentially Proud Mary edition will serve as a LGBT history crash course that tells our story from the speakeasies to the main stages of nightclubs all across the world!
